Spring Training is officially underway!  ”Pitchers and catchers” are most of our favorite February words, but while I’m obviously excited it doesn’t hold the same meaning for me this year given the complete lack of winter the northwest has had.  I’m glad to see our guys going and read the fluff reports about weight loss and players ahead of schedule in their injury recoveries and all that other garbage, but it doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies the way it does when pitchers and catchers rolls around and it’s 45 degrees and raining outside.  Sunny and close to 60 degrees today.

In other news, it seems as though I’ve finally re-acquired a healthy internet connection, so you can look forward to a couple of posts in the near future once I get caught up on the goings on around the blogosphere and rumor mill.
