At this point last year, he had pitched 12 innings (this year he's gone exactly 5, with an injury in-between). Also last year he had pitched in several non-save situations to get his bearings without the pressure on. The only time he's pitched this year has been when a save has been on the line...maybe McLaren needs to use him more in varied situations just to get his legs back under him.
