In other news, Brandon Morrow has been removed from the closer’s role for the time being.  Don Wakamatsu will go with a closer by committee, though David Aardsma figures to get the bulk of the opportunities.

Also, Yuni Betancourt is back in the lineup.  We’ll see if he got the message, but it may not be as easy as just understanding what the team wants him to do.  In fact it’s not.  But maybe he’ll make a few good adjustments.

    Aardsma pitched the last 2 games so you have Lowe/Batista available today… Unless they’re gonna make Aardy pitch any way.

    So now that he’s not closing can he get sent to AAA to start and Clement to the ML?

    I knew that Yuni would be more patient today, but not that patient. I’m thinking that he might have had the take sign the whole at-bat there because I can’t remember the last time he has gone a whole at-bat with out swinging.

    Good to see the W but still felt extremely uncomfortable in the 9th with Aardsma throwing. Every ball hit that inning was hit well. I do give him credit for throwing 3 days in a row though

    Lowe/Aardsma/Batista are gonna give a lot of people heart attacks when they pitch.
