Snell Starting Sunday
by Jon ~ July 31st, 2009
Cancel those tickets to Tacoma, Shannon Drayer is reporting via tweet that Ian Snell will start for the Mariners on Sunday, which was originally Jarrod Washburn’s day. It was easy enough to connect the dots once today’s bullpen was announced, but the team tried to throw us off the trail by optioning him to AAA Tacoma. Obviously that was just a paper move like the ones you see in the minor leagues all the time.
I’m excited!

Let the Snell era begin. I’m actually exited about him. I know he’s a head case but you can’t deny he’s got some talent.

I had this guy on my fantasy team when he was actually good in ’07. I’ve always liked him.

Foiled again! I was totally planning on a drive to the Tac! If they think he’s Show-ready, though, I’m looking forward to tomorrow.
