No Labrum Tear for Bedard

Ryan Divish is reporting that there is no labrum tear in Erik Bedard’s shoulder.
This makes sense. Back on the 17th I posted a Larry LaRue article that said the labrum was “frayed,” but then all of a sudden reports were coming out that it was torn. I never fully believed it because the trainer said it was frayed while Bedard said it was torn. Who would you be more likely to believe out of those two?
A “minor labral rebridement” was performed by Dr. Yocum, a procedure done for less serious labral injuries.
Bedard still isn’t a lock to be ready for Opening Day, but there is a chance that he is. With that, Seattle may refrain from non-tendering him, which probably isn’t a bad thing.
