I was able to catch a couple minutes of Jack Zduriencik’s press conference, but will have to watch the rest later as I’m about to run out the door.  Overall I think it’s encouraging.  He acknowledged the value of sabermetrics and talked of how they were used in Milwaukee.  I’m not sure how influenced he is by them, but his answer is probably better than some people expected.  He also strongly hinted that Raul Ibanez is a goner, which shouldn’t be a surprise.
