    Looks about right, Rob. Obviously this is for current free agents, because Dayan Viciedo would have cracked the top 15.

    Do you see Grudzielanek as a more valuable FA than guys like Trevor Hoffman, Orlando Cabrera, Jaime Moyer, Pudge and Edgar Renteria?

    Anyone wanna have a competition with Rob’s list? We could make predictions and whoever ends up closest would get a very mediocre prize. Eh.. eh?

    If this list was top 30 then all the players you mentioned except Pudge would be on it.

    Good call. It’s amazing how a name can influence opinions. That said, Renteria shouldn’t be soley judged on his 2008 line, which was his worst season in 7-8 years or so. Also, he’s one of the better shortstops going up the middle, so he can bring something to the table defensively if he’s paired with a rangy 3B.

    I’ve always kind of like Grudz though. Average hitter, average defender, but steady and consistent as anyone.
