Glad you found the letter helpful; I believe in making information as widely available as possible, and thought that posting it might serve to re-enforce the idea that Zduriencik seems to know what he is doing, and know that fans want the winning to start happening - I don't feel that it's been acknowledged for a while. With Bavasi, I was given the idea that the fans were just secondary, and that the front office didn't really care how bad the team looked. I don't really get that feeling so much anymore, and I hope that assessment is correct.

Early reports, early reports... We'll see. It wouldn't surprise me. But the link I saw had him pegged at making $1M a year. That is a steal...

There's a report that Tazawa has already decided to sign with the Red Sox.

I guess it depends on what Trade Partner Team X needs at the trade deadline. If they could use a bat (and who doesn't need defense?) Beltre could be brought up again. I really want to keep him though.

I agree that he is undervalued, but his value won't increase by midseason like a starting pitcher or reliever might. 1 full season of Beltre is probably going to bring in more than a half season.

I don't think Beltre gets traded. He's so undervalued that I don't think the proper package will come along. Wait until mid-season at least to see how the market feels about him...

Triunfel, Hernandez, Morrow, if those aren't your last names you should be available. I am sure going to miss Beltre though :(

Gotta agree... Felix and Morrow are untouchable. Aside from that, I'm willing to bet Triunfel is under that catagory: "Untouchable, but we're saying that he's touchable anyway..."

Other than that, this off-season should be exciting.

I'm loving Zduriencik more and more with each day.
